My headache has now gone & I have had time to reflect on your actions. I read with interest your justification; No, let me rephrase that, worm turning to explain why you did what you did. Apologies sir, but that just don’t hold water where I come from!

At the end of the day you suggest you are not under any NDA, are not reseller or beta tester. But the fact is you did have access to confidential information & I have a good idea how you acquired the “said” data. I wonder if you still have access to the “said” vendors reseller portals? Hmmmmm makes me wonder. So armed with this information did you ever think of contacting the “said” software vendor to see if you were allowed to post it?...... I guess not. Oh yeah, you are a journalist & you can do what you like. Freedom of speech & all that.

SO I note you see this as some kind of competition? Who gets the most traffic? Really? Oh, did I touch a raw nerve? I guess I did. Do I post for notoriety & want to be the first one past the post? No, I really don’t. If you take a look at my site you will notice only one advert & that’s for my friends & colleagues book. So there you have it, it’s not about revenue generation or being first past the line. I wonder if you can say the same thing???……..Yeah, that’s what I thought.

So that is my response to our Bog post & in my eyes this puts closure to this sorry state of affairs. Normal service is now resumed.
